  1. This revision of ConfMail (Revision 4.00) has several of the old ConfMail
  2. features removed.  Basically, this version is ONLY for IMPORT or EXPORT
  3. of messages.  The other functions (Main, Renum, etc.) were removed because
  4. of space considerations.  If you wish to continue utilizing those functions,
  5. rename the old ConfMail.Exe to something else, and change your command lines
  6. accordingly.

  8. What is new?  Well, just a few things:

  10. 1. Up to 500 areas now supported.  All available memory is used.
  11.  
  12. 2. Using the -D parameter on Import you can check for dups on up to the last
  13.    6000 messages.

  15. 3. When operating in Opus/Binkley mode (using the -O parameter on Export),
  16.    full zone support in the AREAS.BBS file is possible.  Right now, this is
  17.    only important for BinkleyTerm since Opus does not support this feature.
  18.    Basically, if your outbound area specified by -O exists, and you also want
  19.    to export messages to another zone, another outbound directory must exist.

  22. 4. Several bugs squashed.

  24. This version is basically being released to get rid of the memory size 
  25. problem that many people are running into.  The older revisions of ConfMail
  26. ran in small model, and were limited to a 64K data space.  This version is
  27. compiled as large model, and no such restrictions exist.
